Mikel Obi and Victor Moses nominated for BBC Awards

Aubameyang, Pitroipa, Mikel, Moses and Yaya

Five players have been shortlisted for BBC African Footballer of the year of which Mikel and Moses happen to be the amongst the chosen ones.
The winner of the award will be announced 2nd December 2013 and the winner will be chosen by Fan's text and website vote. 
 
The five nominees are:
 
  • Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast)
 
  • Mikel Obi (Nigeria)
 
  • Victor Moses ( Nigeria)
 
  • Jonathan Pitroipia (Burkina Faso)
 
  • Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon)
 
Congrats to them both....una do well. Abeg make una vote for my Nija guys.

Birthdays Are Perfect Times To Reflect

Birthdays are always worthy of celebrating and it's that time of the year, most people look forward to. Many of us look forward to this day to celebrate in different ways/ grand styles.....Some spend it partying,  clubbing, drinking, praying etc. one of which I'm guilty of. Just recently, I pondered over life and realized, as each day passes by, minutes after minutes ,every passing hour, Time is just of the essence. That time is drawing closer and faster than we could ever imagine.The most scary part of it is, no one knows when?
