Update: ASUU postpones next NEC meeting till next year

Information gathered from a reliable source says the death of former ASUU President, Professor Festus Iyayi, who died yesterday in a ghastly auto crash  on his way to Kano for NEC meeting to be held yesterday has led to the postponement of the next NEC meeting till January 15th, 2014.
Before his death, he was one of the negotiating team of ASUU and Head of Department of Business Administration, University of Benin.

Sad news this is...  My sincere condolences to the Families of Prof Festus Iyayi. May God give them the fortitude to bear the loss.  I just pray ASUU strike is resolved earlier than the proposed date..... January is way too far abeg.
Anyways, Will keep you posted as soon as I get more updates.
